How do you handle gaps in AIS data in Vessel Insights API?

First we get AIS data from our supplier. Then we normalize this AIS track to create a DTN version of vessel’s track. This track has positions every 15 mins. If the gap in AIS data we receive is more than 24 hours, there will be a gap in the normalized track available in Vessel Insights
